Seasons of Love

We are delighted and proud to present our virtual choir performance of Seasons of Love, a beautiful song from the hit Broadway musical Rent.

We commissioned this four-part harmony arrangement of the song in memory of our dear friend Helen Reid, formerly a member of our bass section who died in 2018.

We learned the song in early 2020. Then lockdown happened and we haven't been able to sing together since, so we decided to create this recording of our special song. Each member submitted their own separate recording and they were all merged together to produce a single performance.

Many thanks to our director Kate for the hours and hours of editing to produce the final result, and to Liz Garnett for arranging the song so beautifully for us.

The recording was also our contribution to the LABBS Big Weekend, which took place in October 2020.
