We're delighted to announce that Gill Irwin is joining Cheshire A Cappella as our new Chorus Director.
Gill is a long standing barbershop singing enthusiast since 1988 and as a member of the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers she has achieved 3 Gold medals singing baritone with Checkmate quartet (National 1994 & International 1996) and lead with Pzazz quartet 2015.
Gill directed her first chorus Crystal Chords from 1990-97 and returned as assistant director between 2010-2024.
Between 2001-2006 Gill sang as a soloist with Sing Live North West and as lead vocalist with ’In Cahoots’ cover band.
She brings a wealth of talent and experience and we can't wait to get started!
