We are delighted to be joined by seven new members following our recruitment day in January. Huge welcome to Tricia, Sian, Hilary, Ann, Sue, Stephanie and Kvetka, it's great to have you with us!
11th January 2020
It was lovely to see so many new faces at our open day. We had such a great day, learning a new song together and getting to know each other. We're looking forward to making more progress over the next few weeks.
Anyone who missed the open day but is interested in joining us is very welcome to come along to any of our Wednesday night rehearsals. Get in touch here.
8th December 2019
It was a full house on Sunday 8th December for the Cheshire A Cappella Christmas show! We had plenty of Christmas songs to get us into the festive mood, and an audience singalong accompanied by our very own ukulele group. We welcomed fabulous guest quartets SK4 and Revolution and enjoyed a reading from the lovely Karen, who was celebrating her special birthday that very day!
Christmas Singout at Wilmslow Garden Centre
1st December 2019
A lovely afternoon at Wilmslow Garden Centre, singing Christmas songs and collecting on behalf of local charity the Seashell Trust. Our first festive singout of the season!
25th to 27th October 2019
We had a fantastic weekend in Llandudno, competing in the 2019 LABBS Convention with 27 other choruses from across the UK. It was an exhilarating experience, and a privilege to share the stage with such amazing talent.
A recording of our performance can be seen here
7th & 8th September 2019
We had a great retreat weekend, with coaching from Jo Braham and Sandra Lea-Riley in preparation for LABBS Convention at the end of October. Full-on hard work but such fun and so rewarding, with plenty of cake to help us through... there was even prosecco!
Visit to Jersey
16th to 17th March 2019
We were delighted to be invited to spend a weekend singing in the beautiful island of Jersey. We were guests of the well-renowned choir Les Conteurs Singers at their concert in the parish of St. Martin, and performed in our own singout at a tea-and-cakes event in St. Aubin the following afternoon.
